Duties and Responsibilities

1. Drives the vehicle on different assignments with instruction from the Superiors.
2. Makes daily checks to ensure that oil and water levels are at required levels prior to engine start.
3. Ensure the company vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and well maintained at all times.
4. Ensure vehicle licenses, insurance, and service schedules are up to date.
5. Reports all faults of the car to the superiors and prepares workshop defect slip prior to taking the vehicle for repairs to the workshop.
6. Maintains an up to date log book by recording mileage and fuel details.
7. Promote and adhere to Illovo's procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)

Job Requirements

1. Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
2. Valid Class C1 Driving Licence (holders of Category PG will have an added advantage).
3. Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience.
4. Good communication and report-writing skills.
