Key Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to:

1. Support the development and review of curricula, teaching and learning materials.
2. Provide effective tuition to students at various levels.
3. Participate in internal and external examining and assessment.
4. Initiate and undertake research projects, consultancies and outreach programmes.
5. Develop, enforce and monitor the adoption and adaptation of new technologies and concepts.
6. Develop and implement resource mobilisation strategies.
7. Mentor academic staff below their level.
8. Prepare and submit reports.
9. Represent their departments at various forums.
10. Publish and disseminate research findings.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A relevant Bachelor’s Degree with at least a Credit or Honours (Second Class Upper).
2. A relevant Master’s Degree or PhD in the specified field of study.
